Generally this fault is the result of lose solder joints under the GPU, or in some cases the CPU. The fault can also be attributed to a malfunctioning component on the main board; although that is rare. We use a BGA Microscope to look under your GPU/CPU to determine the cause of the fault, if the problem is lose solder balls, then we use cutting edge technology to reflow the board. On some rare cases, the solder under the chip needs to be replaced. In that case we fully remove the chip from the board, clean and re-ball it. Once the chip has been re-fitted, we fully test your console to make sure the repair has worked.
