The Directors of Console Doctor have been in the repair business since 1972, Currie & Maughan was setup supplying & repairing Computers/Calculators to many businesses & Schools all over the North of England.
With the launch of the Commodore Amiga they secured distribution rights for the North of England, repairs were still a big part of the business & with the games console market taking off they ran a very efficient retail & repair service.
With the repair side of the business growing rapidly & the rise of the internet we decided to launch a new website dedicated to repairing games consoles after seeing a gap in the market while operating from our retail outlet.
Console Doctor Ltd is a family run business that has been in operation since 2007. We are backed up by over 40 years of experience in both the retail and gaming industries.
From humble beginnings repairing consoles in the back room of a retail shop, the business has grown year on year into its own fully fledged company.
We called it Console Doctor Ltd, and have grown year on year with our offices in the Quayside Business Development Centre Newcastle, We have years of experience dealing with customers
face to face, because of this we know what level of service is required. We have developed our services to include large scale clients & major Insurance companies,
these include: GAME, ARGOS, HMV, ALLIANZ, Domestic & General and many more.
