Here at Console Doctor we are always striving to better our product and, as a result of this, are constantly on the cutting edge of repair technology. Our PS3 department has greatly benefitted from increased investment and our new high-quality Infrared Rework System is testament to this.

This system allows us to work with immaculate precision and to a high level of professionalism. The infrared system, combined with a powerful Reflow Process Camera affords us the luxury of pinpoint accuracy. Our team of skilled engineers operate this rework system using a piece of software that enables us to create temperature profiles and set parameters that we can use time and again, meaning that each and every repair is accurate, consistent and controlled.

 

       

 

Once the repair process has begun, a non contacting infrared sensor allows for optimal process control of the top and bottom infrared radiators. From investing large amounts of time and money, we have been able to determine the limited usefulness of archaic repair techniques and have thus made the decision to invest in a service that puts us a step ahead of our competitors. The high-quality rework system that we use, combined with our team of expert engineers, allows us to offer an unrivalled service.

In order to ensure that our new Rework System is successful, we have been analysing our repair rates and are currently running on a 97% success rate over the past three months. For those consoles that we cannot fix, we offer a trade in for a refurbished or a brand new PS3 Slim console. In the unlikely event that we repair your console and it breaks under the 90-day warranty period, we will repair the console, and even arrange to collect it for free.

Beware other companies who offer a 'while you wait' service where the focus is on a quick fix, these repairs can often be temporary and you will be forced to keep returning the console for re-repair. Here at Console Doctor each console is put through a rigorous testing procedure once repaired to ensure you should have no problems with your console when you get it home.
