This is perhaps the most obvious fault on the DS Lite. Generally the right hinge will be cracked or even missing. The top half of the DS will, in some cases, come loose from the right hand hinge.
Book your console under this fault if you experience any or all of these symptoms:
- Either the right (most commonly) or left corner hinge of the DSi has snapped away from the console.
- The DSi hinge remains attached, however cracks or a bend can be seen on the hinge.
- This repair covers any other cracks that appear on your DSi console, cracks that may appear on the casing surrounding the top screen.
- The top screen must still function correctly.
