Generally this fault is a result of a damaged XBOX 360 drive laser. There is an important distinction to be made with this repair as sometimes this fault can be caused by a faulty drive board. However, for the most part the repair is simply a case of replacing the laser inside your XBOX 360 drive. In a case where the drive board is at fault, we simply fit a new drive at no extra cost. If you feel as though the games are faulty and would like them repaired please feel free to send them along with the console and we can repair them for 99p each.
Book your console under this fault if you experience any or all of these symptoms:
- Console will accept the disc but will not load the disc inserted.
- The console may give the message 'open tray' despite the game being in the drive.
- The games may crash or freeze and may give the message that the game is unreadable.
