There are a number of reasons this fault can occur from a corrupt data fragment to problems downloading firmware. Regrettably we cannot guarantee that all saved data will be kept when our engineers repair this fault, although we do endeavour to try and save as much data as we can.
Book your console under this fault if you experience any or all of these symptoms:
- When turning the PlayStation 3 on a message reads "Cannot start. The correct hard drive was not found"
- You may not be able to complete the restoration of the hard drive, it may stop at a certain percentage.
- Loading bars will continuously loop.
- Loss or corruption of save data.
- Black screen when console is turned on.
- Error message concerning the HDD (Hard Disk Drive)
- Not playing some games.
